Tour Overview
Lakefront Brewery
One of the first and most successful microbreweries in Milwaukee! Lakefront began in an old bakery in Riverwest and has since grown to produce nearly 50,000 barrels of beer each year. Their accomplishments include the first certified organic beer in the country, the first gluten-free beer recognized by the US Government, and what may be the first bottled fruit beer since prohibition.
Gathering Place Brewing
Opened in August of 2017, Gathering Place is one of the newest breweries in town. This brewery’s namesake comes from the indigenous word Milwaukee, meaning “gathering by the waters.” Gathering Place Brewing creates a range of vibrant and unique beers that reflect the city’s diverse cultural heritage.
Black Husky Brewing
Black Husky Brewing was founded in 2010, in a small log cabin in the rural town of Pembine, WI. Inspired by the dogs in their sled dog kennel, they named the brewery after their beloved, black husky, Howler. Each of their craft brews is associated with a dog in their family, as a tribute to the loyalty and companionship that defined them.
Company Brewing
Keeping things local, Company has created a “neighborhood pale ale” brewed with hops harvested in the backyard of their neighbors! George took his 14 years of experience in the coffee industry and turned it into a thriving brewery with a full kitchen and live music.
Don’t Just Take Our Word For It!
All the Brew tours were private tours which was a huge plus. The shuttle was clean, warm and we got front door drop off at all breweries. Can’t wait to this again!
My wife and I were very pleased with this tour. Mike did a wonderful job showing us around the city. We were able to learn a lot about Milwaukee and see things that we would have never been able to find on our own. I highly recommend a tour next time you are in Milwaukee.
