Spring has Sprung in Milwaukee!

Today is an incredible 83 degree day in Milwaukee, and has us more than ready for summer! But before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s talk April in Milwaukee!

First up is Milwaukee Day! Celebrated on the day that also matches our area code, 4/14 is a special day throughout the city! Below are 14 ways to celebrate in the 414:

The Tonic Tavern. 414 Day-themed party. 2335 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.

Visitors to Milwaukee will also have the rare opportunity to see some of the best American League baseball clubs from around the country. The Brewer’s will host the Boston Red Socks 4/21-4/23, Detroit Tigers 4/24-4/26, and the Anaheim Angels 4/28-4/30. Tailgating with a grill, a cooler full of beer, and a few yard games is the best way to assimilate with the local crowd. Even if you can’t bring a grill, offering up a few beers will most certainly earn you a free brat in exchange. The Brewer’s also have a great bar network that will offer free shuttles to the game and back from downtown bars and restaurants. Kelly’s Bleachers, The Milwaukee Brat House, and Steny’s are just a few of the bars that offer free rides!

Another perennial (pun intended) event in Milwaukee is “Art in Bloom” hosted by the Milwaukee Art Museum. Stroll through the galleries, where you’ll find 27 floral designs, each inspired by a specific work of art. Windhover Hall will also feature an indoor garden and live music.

Summer is close in the Cream City, and we hope you will join us on a sightseeing tour of Milwaukee soon. Let’s hope for more 80 degree days ahead!
